SktchRef AI ("we", "us") is an AI-powered visual reference tool for artists. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
2. Information we collect
- Account info: email, display name, handle, optional avatar.
- Usage data: searches, generations, saved references, liked items.
- Billing: handled by Stripe — we store only your subscription status, not card numbers.
- Device data: browser type, viewport, and basic analytics for performance.
3. How we use it
To deliver AI generations, sync your saved boards, process payments, improve the product, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Advertising
SktchRef AI may display ads served by Google AdSense and its partners on Free-tier accounts. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to show personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads or via aboutads.info. Pro subscribers receive an ad-free experience.
5. Cookies
We use first-party cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and run analytics. Third-party ad cookies are set by Google when ads are displayed.
6. Data storage & security
Data lives in our cloud database protected by Row Level Security and encrypted at rest. See our Security page for details on how we protect API keys and payments.
7. Your rights
You can edit your profile, delete your account, or request a data export at any time by emailing privacy@sktchref.ai. Residents of the EU/UK have rights under GDPR; California residents have rights under CCPA.
8. Children
SktchRef AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and bump the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in-app.
